McFarlin’s ‘62

My brother and I did a frame-off
restoration and made some modifications because we didn't have the original
engine and thus couldn't keep it 'pure'. We rebuilt the engine (a 350 CI),
updated the intake and carburetor (from a '66 Corvette), added a MSD ignition,
completely rewired with new wiring harnesses, copious amounts of 'Fat Matt'
sound deadening, stainless Steel disc brakes on the front, new drums/shoes on
the rear, dual master cylinder, Classic Air air conditioning (for Florida
summers), a new top and pads, new wiper motor and drive system, an alternator
and a myriad of other minor updates.
Our objective was to make it a safe and fun driver.
